Olive Base Oil

Olive Base Oil is high in healthy fatty acids, anti-inflammatory compounds and antioxidants. It can be used as a carrier oil to help hydrate your skin, speed up wound healing and even help to fight infections.

Research suggests that olive oil may serve as a promising treatment for skin related conditions like seborrheic dermatitis, psoriasis, acne and atopic dermatitis. It helps to improve these skin issues by reducing inflammation and fighting the growth of bacteria.

If you want to use Essential Oils on your skin. The pure essential oil needs to be diluted with a base oil. It is recommended to aim for a dilution of around 2%, which is about 12 drops added into 30 ml of base oil.

Origin: Spain – Olive trees have been grown around the Mediterranean since the 8th millennium BC. Spain is the largest producer of olive oil, followed by Italy and Greece.
